SAUDI ARABIA: MAN BEHEADED BY SWORD FOR MURDER


June 21, 2008: a Saudi Arabian man was beheaded by the sword afterbeing convicted of killing a compatriot.


Deyab bin Dhahawial-Shimmari was found guilty of shooting dead Mansur bin Saad al-Ajmiduring in a fight, said a statement carried by the official SPA newsagency. He was executed in the region of Riyadh.
